By Ferry
Nestled on the harbour at Neutral Bay, Nutcote is easily accessible by public transport with regular ferry services from Circular Quay. Nutcote is signposted from Neutral Bay (Hayes Street Wharf and bus connection to Wallaringa Stop) and from Kurraba Road Wharf (91 steps!). Please check 131500 for ferry departure times.
By Bus (Route 225)
Ferry link from Neutral Bay Junction (Wycombe/Military Road) regular 30-minute service. Alight at Kurraba Road and continue down Wycombe Road keeping to the left to reach Wallaringa Avenue – about 5 minutes walk.
By Car
Nutcote does not have a visitor’s car park and Council Rangers patrol the area regularly. Some off-street parking can be found on Kurraba, Wycombe and Lower Wycombe Roads; however we strongly encourage you to catch the ferry and enjoy the relaxing and scenic ferry ride over Sydney Harbour to Hayes Street, Neutral Bay.
By Coach
Wallaringa Avenue is a short and narrow one-way thoroughfare and is not suitable for large Buses and Coaches. A special bus/coach drop-off point is signposted at the bottom of Wycombe Road near the junction with Wallaringa Avenue. Nutcote is then 2 minutes walk.

May Gibbs’ Nutcote is an historic property, and as such can be a little difficult for people who experience trouble walking up and down stairs and sloping paths. If you require wheelchair access, it is essential to call Nutcote and advise staff at least two days prior to a visit.
