It is recommended that you should allow about 2 hours to have a good look at May Gibbs' life, works and the Nutcote property, including the historic House and garden.

Possible Nutcote itinerary (if you have a couple of hours)

• 11.00am – Arrive, have a cup of tea and a biscuit in the Bib and Bub Tea Room (subject to availability)
• 11.20 am - Watch the films about May Gibbs (running time 20 minutes)
• 11.40am - Have a tour of the House
• 12.00pm – take a turn in the Harbour Garden
• 12.10pm – take a turn in the formal English Garden
• 12.20pm – have lunch either in the Bib and Bub Tea Room or bring along a picnic!
• 1.00pm – have a look in the Gift Shop

Possible itinerary (if you have limited time)
• Arrive at Nutcote
• Watch films (20 minutes)
• Have a tour of the house (20 minutes)
• Take a turn in the gardens

After 2.30pm 

House tour only (30 mins)

Parking

There is no parking available at Nutcote and very limited parking on Wallaringa Avenue. A disabled parking space is situated close to the entrance to May Gibbs' Nutcote. Access
There is a disabled toilet but access to it is via a flight of some 12 stairs. A disabled parking space is situated close to the entrance to May Gibbs' Nutcote. This operates from 13.30am-3pm Wednesdays to Sundays.

There is an admission fee* to enter to the Nutcote property which is payable at the Gift Shop/Admissions Centre.
